The Super Aramith Tournament Carom Ball Set is a premium three-ball set manufactured by Saluc in Belgium from genuine Aramith phenolic resin. Designed for demanding carom and three-cushion play, the Tournament version is produced to tight manufacturing tolerances for excellent consistency from ball to ball.
The set includes three 61.5 mm carom balls: one red ball, one yellow ball, and one white ball. Each ball weighs 210 g, providing the substantial and consistent playing characteristics expected from high-quality carom equipment.
Aramith phenolic resin provides homogeneous density and carefully controlled balance, helping keep the center of gravity at the center of each ball. This contributes to a true, accurate roll and predictable reaction during position play, spin, cushion rebounds, and ball-to-ball contact.
The Super Aramith Tournament set is produced to exacting standards, with each ball individually calibrated to help ensure maximum consistency throughout the matched set. Diameter, sphericity, balance, density, surface polish, color, and other critical characteristics are carefully controlled during production.
The balls feature an extra-hard, through-hardened transparent surface designed for excellent resistance to abrasion, impact, scratching, and wear. The hard phenolic surface also helps minimize burn spots on both the balls and billiard cloth while maintaining a smooth finish and high luster over an extended period of use.
Aramith phenolic resin is engineered to withstand the high friction temperatures generated during play and to provide consistent rebound characteristics. This helps players maintain predictable speed, direction, spin, impact response, and position play.
